VASE: Veteran alliance for support & empowerment
At Veterans Alliance for Support and Empowerment (VASE), a 501c3, our mission is to honor and uplift the lives of our nation’s Veterans through collective action, shared gratitude, and enduring support with our primary focus on face-to-face and virtual outreach opportunities. We unite communities, organizations, and individuals to recognize the sacrifices of those who served, ensuring every Veteran feels valued, respected, and remembered, providing tools and resources to overcome challenges often unseen by the public eye. Together, we stand stronger—honoring our Veterans, together as one. VASE is a 501c3 and the funding arm of Mission:Possible and other Veteran outreach opportunities in the future.

MISSION:POSSIBLE was founded in early-2024 through collaboration of Calumet, Outagamie, and Winnebago County Veterans Service Offices. At the time, the three counties pooled a portion of their WDVA ARPA (Covid-19) grant funds to host an incredible event spanning across the entire Fox Cities Exhibition Center - all four floors - providing Veteran-focused and Veteran-owned organizations the opportunity to connect with Veterans and their families. It was hailed the “largest Veteran event in the history of Wisconsin” and contributed to various recognitions including an award from Tyler Technologies: “VSO Excellence Award 2024.”
Mission:Possible is organized and led by a steering committee formed through a community of Veteran and Veteran-supporting volunteers. There is no Board of Directors and no direct ownership; it belongs to all Veterans!
Mission: Veteran & Family Outreach—educate, connect, and relate through veteran-centric partners while leveraging local, Wisconsin, and federal resources to meet Veterans where they are.
Vision: A community-wide network where every Veteran and family can quickly find trusted guidance, meaningful connection, and the benefits and services they’ve earned.
Knowing there would not be an opportunity for additional grant funding, a few dedicated members from MISSION:POSSIBLE 2024 committee met to discuss the way forward, desiring to keep the event going. In mid-2025, several members formed VASE (see above) to be the fundraising arm of MISSION:POSSIBLE. In late-2025, the steering committee pivoted from a symposium every year to alternating events. The committee felt an All Services Military & Veteran Formal Ball would be an exciting opportunity to come together at an event many Veterans truly enjoyed during their time in service. There will be other elements like VETx Forward presentations and MISSION:POSSIBLE SYMPOSIUM 2027 in the Fall of 2027 tentatively set for the County Fair Grounds in Oshkosh, WI.
